To help streamline your involvement, we use a secure third-party app that serves as your Parent Dashboard—a one-stop portal for admissions, tuition management, Daily updates and more. Simply log in to your account on the Parent Dashboard to access all the resources you need and stay informed about the latest updates and school activities.
Communication
Parent Teacher Communications
At Sunshine Preschool, we actively engage with parents through a variety of channels, including our parent handbook, monthly newsletters, VIP events, parent-teacher conferences, and open classroom observation. We maintain an open-door policy and welcome parents to visit and observe at any time, reinforcing our commitment to transparency and collaboration.
We value open communication between families and educators. Conferences can be scheduled at any time that is convenient for both parents and teachers. In addition, formal conferences are held each Fall and Spring. During each scheduled conference, parents receive a written progress report, and a copy is added to the child’s file. In the Spring, families will also receive their child’s classroom portfolio, highlighting their growth and learning throughout the year.
These conferences also provide an opportunity for educators to discuss family and cultural values. Through thoughtful conversations, we work together to understand and bridge any differences between the school’s curriculum approach and each family’s background and experiences.
